Cali here. Southern even. My limited experience is that we So. Cal. kinksters don't seem to be quite as "out there" as the folks up north. Of course my view is limited by palm tree's, an amazing Owner (who can be slightly .... uuummm possessive) and a short time "out" in the kink world. I've been phenominally quiet here, but want to make some time to change that.
